Dear founder,
It’s early June 2025, and I’m currently writing to you from the beautiful Caribbean island of Saint Lucia. I’ve got the 2nd best view of the island right now on the Tet Paul Nature trail with a view of the two iconic lush, green mountains, called the Gros Piton and Petit Piton.
The trail marker is aptly named the stairway to heaven.
This view is 2nd only to the view you’d get from being on one of these mountains, from the highest peak on the Island, the Gros Piton. But I've got plenty of time to think about making the possible 3 hour hike.
You see, I’m currently doing some island hopping and planning to spend this entire summer exploring what the Caribbean has to offer.
And so far it’s been crystal clear blue waters, sea salt spray in my hair, white sand beaches, cheap french-african islander eats and warm, welcoming people.
Just a few years ago, I would’ve never imagined I'd be writing for a living, much less digital nomading all over the world making a living as a client-less copywriter.
In late 2023, I had spent over $10,000, nearly close enough to $15,000 trying to get into online business. I’d previously explored and dabbed in the usual, Ecomm, droppshipping, and the agency space.
I've built dozens of websites across every platform imaginable, Weebly, Duda, Kajabi (that one cost me thousands), WordPress, etc. Each representing another failed attempt, another lesson written in red ink.
Then I discovered something most internet entrepreneurs have never heard of: Rank and Rent.
This secretive framework for building marketing agencies was my first taste of real online success. The concept was elegant: use SEO to build websites, capture leads, then rent that digital real estate to phone driven local service businesses.
I shortly joined a private Facebook group led by Nick, a guy quietly making over $120K MMR.
But I was too late. The golden age had passed.
The Rank and Rent method was already oversaturated.
Google's algorithm and rules shifted. Free website traffic dried up. Suddenly, expensive google PCP ads became necessary to continue the business and I'd missed the bus to financial freedom by about 2-3 years.
“If only i had gotten into this a bit earlier i thought”.
Yet rank and rent taught me something invaluable:
Only invest in businesses where you build assets you control that generate you monthly recurring revenue and have protective moats.
Because while we generated leads for local home service businesses, earning an average of $1-2.5k per client they made 4-5X what we charged them that same month.
I knew about some of them were getting an exit and getting close to selling their businesses within just a few years because of deals in the group.
In the winter of 2024, I waited. I knew spring would bring the seasonal surge in local service searches. I had my tree service site ready for Columbus, Ohio(my hometown) and a couple of other sites ready to launch.
Everything was done, SEO, site optimization, backlinking, you name it.
My plan was to launch Google ads and go all-in on rank and rent.
But restlessness consumed me.
During those cold midwestern months, I fell down the rabbit hole of email marketing. I watched copywriters, people who simply arranged words on a page, absolutely CRUSHING IT financially while I was struggling to get this new, cool business off the ground.
These guys were ranking in 6 figures incomes every month.
"Copywriting?" I scoffed.
I'd always imagined writers as starving artists. I knew general writers made literal pennies for writing hundreds of words.
“No way can you make this much in writing I thought”. Writing was my most hated subject in school(even though I was great at it). The LAST business I wanted to pursue was something in writing.
But then I saw it. A single phrase that stopped me cold during my research:
"Client-less Copywriter"
My mind raced. Copywriting without clients? How is any business possible without clients?
The more i read, the more i was shocked.
My research revealed a whole world of stress-free, uncapped-income businesses built on the foundation of persuasive writing:
The revelation hit me like lightning: Why waste years panhandling for clients, going back and forth with witless local businesses when I could build assets that pay me forever?
See I knew from my Rank and Rent days that the SEO guys did all the work, because I actually lived it.
I was the guy who looked for untapped niches in low competition cities, I built the sites and built all the pages and did the on-page and off-page SEO. I paid for the backlinking services. I bought the local virtual numbers. I called hungry local business owners, booked them sales calls, handled their objections sold them and repeated the process all over again.
I did this ad nauseaum, doing the lion’s share of the work, while they made 10X the amount, paying me only a fraction of it.
I ended up making some decent MRR(around $5k fluctuating) and was ready to launch my next sites, like i mentioned before.
But again, winter 2024, my mind raced.
Why not get ahead of the market by going client-less?
I was tired of eating what I hunted, tired of the feast and famine months, tired of the Rank and Rent process, of the constant building, destroying, building and abandoning sites for cities that thought would work.
Don’t get me wrong this was a fantastic business model. Arguably the best business model to start a marketing agency. And arguably one the best business models to get into today.
If you want, you can go ahead do your research and start an agency via Rank and Rank and come back to me and I’ll tell you “I told you so”.
Not like that trendy bullshit that was going around like SMMA.
Because believe me I tried SMMA too, it’s laughable how bad of a business model it is.
But Rank and Rent ultimately waned on me simply because I discovered the superior business model(clientless copywriting).
And I was more than happy to pass up Rank and Rent given it’s issues.
See the gurus won’t tell you but marketing agencies have a lot of issues despite the upsides. And in no particular order they’d be:
When I discovered clientless copywriting, I bridged the experience from my Rank and Rent stint and had this insane epiphany.
Clientless Copywriting had all the benefits of running an agency, without any of the drawbacks.
More freedom via all it’s possible vertical avenues like the email, DTC, social media or content creator space. Bigger profit margins(rank and rent had about 40-50% profits when you ran ads(which you mostly have to nowadays)), building a lifelong brand, not just owning a URL, etc.
All the positives of the best secret business model I discovered without any of the negatives.
So still in December 2024, literally Christmas day, I launched Clientless Copywriting and began testing.
I started writing on reddit, mostly prodding copywriters and seeing their reactions to clientless copywriting.
Many of them were tired of freelancing, being undercut by cheaper global copywriters so I was vindicated.
I knew i had a business model that solved a problem.
And in 2023, the year before also meant A.I was in the picture.
In fact as I write to you now, in 2025, it’s predicted by 2026 that A.I will be incorporated into 80-90% of the internet.
The content writing, the ghostwriting, even video, with the release of VEO 3.
Being a traditional copywriter today means racing to the bottom against cheap global copywriters and watching AI steal your livelihood.
Is that wise?
Clientless Copywriting emerged as the perfect solution against all these issues, it’s the lovechild of all great online business principles, a hege against the looming threat of A.i and a panacea to all the bullshit that comes with dealing with clients.
It’s also the cure to the anti-9-to-5 sentiment and the dream of so many people trying to escape the rat race and start online businesses.
It’s all for the sake of freedom.
That’s the one thing I pursue and one of the few things I want to be known for when I'm 6 foot under.
I want people to say, “that guy lived a full life”.
And I want the same for you as well, my friend.
It's better than Rank and Rent, better than potentially every well known business model out there.
Less saturated. More sustainable. Something you can truly build a moat around.
A legacy that will earn you millions.
And within just months, it's already paying me in ways I couldn't have imagined.
I want you to learn it so you can be free.
Free to do what you want.
Whether you just want to wake up a little bit later, not have a nagging boss breathe down your neck with their coffee breath. Or maybe you want to spend more time with your family.
My schedule these days, every day, is to sit down and craft content(that a.i can’t write) that resonates deeply with my audience. I write emails and have a guy hired delegated to my social media accounts(learned where to find good talent from my Rank and Rent days).
Anyways, these emails are often around 400-600 words, written in just around 30 minutes. And I don’t re-read, edit, or agonize over the details, I simply write and hit send.
Minutes later, my list receives these daily messages, and the income starts flowing into my business effortlessly.
What does this have to do with you? Everything.
Let me properly introduce you to Clientless Copywriting, where you don’t have to depend on clients to build a profitable business. The strategy I’ve developed allows you to craft a brand that works for you, not just in copywriting(my niche), generating passive income and scaling on autopilot.
Below I'll freely give you the same roadmap I've personally used to grow my brand for joining my free email list.
It’ll give you overview of what you’ll need to do to build a personal brand.
Over these nearly 2 years, I’ve taught a few of my close friends and former colleagues how to fire their jobs and build the foundation to build a legacy for themselves, not for clients or for their bosses.
One of my formers colleagues currently runs a horror blog with forty thousand monthly podcast downloads. Her horror niche has become a beloved brand and now she monetizes it and earns a sick income.
And it doesn’t matter if you’ve never written a word before. I’ve helped founders and complete beginners craft high-converting emails, landing pages, and content that bring in money, all without chasing clients.
Here’s what I promise you:
The key? Focus on a hyperniche, an audience with specific needs. By doing this, you become the go-to expert in that niche. This specialized focus makes it easier to build trust and generate sales while minimizing competition. You’ll ideally be a big fish in a small pond.
Here's how you can build the entire framework within just 6 months:
Learn the fundamentals of copywriting by learning from the classics(pre-internet copywriters) like Gary Halbert and pinpoint your niche. By the end of the first month, you’ll ideally know the basics of copywriting(enough to sell), have your hyperniche, business proposal, and a brand statement that clearly communicates your value to your audience.
Develop your signature offer (whether it’s a course, eBook, or consulting service) and create a compelling reason for your audience to trust you over the competition. In this phase, we’ll test your business offer and put it to the test, ensuring market demand.
During this month you’ll build a high converting SEO site using SEO principles. The goal of the site is to capture leads off google and convert them onto your list, growing your list for you while you sleep.
Start weekly/daily emailing your list and create content that addresses your audience’s pain points, delivering value consistently.
Analyze your results and fine-tune your strategy. Start thinking about outsourcing tasks so you can focus on high-impact activities that will grow your business even further.
Expand your brand’s reach through collaborations and optimized ads. Focus on continuous learning and adapting strategies to stay ahead in your niche.
If you follow these steps and choose the right hyper-niche, by the end of six months, you’ll have built the foundations for a self-sustaining, passive income-generating brand, with minimal client interaction.
And if you want, you can take on the extra client work to pay your bills or have some extra cash on hand, it's not called “anticlient copywriting”.
But the point is, you’ll be your own best client and never need to rely on anyone for a living.
You can soon fire your job and become a globe trotting rockstar too.
Within 24 months you can put out an offer and sell to your list.
The best part? This entire process is mostly passive, earning for you while you sleep. You’ll create a system where your income grows on it’s own, while you spend your time building your expertise, crafting content, and expanding your brand.
If you’re ready to stop trading time for money and start building a scalable, automated business that works for you, this is your chance.
Act now.
